Developing an automatic retinal vessel detection algorithm for VAMPIRE by considering the current challenges and open problems related to retinal vessel segmentation such as imaging artefact’s, obscuring lesions, central vessel reflex, segmentation of small vessels, and parallel vessels with minimum distance.
